I agree you definitely need to have that connection with your niche. A good round of surveys or scouring blog posts (your or others) would help find those nuggets.
Absolutely – it’s 80% mindset and 20% technique. Two people can look at the exact same survey responses, blogs, magazines, discussion forums, etc…and one will see 5 opportunities, someone else will completely miss them.
By the way – went to your site – are you really Terry Dean? Netbreakthrough’s was one of my first big online catalysts!
