Making money from home has become a popular topic in recent years. Many think the cost of starting up a business is expensive. That couldn’t be farther from the truth. With the use of the internet anyone could be making affiliate money with little to no investment. Affiliate marketing is the hottest new work at home phenomenon to develop in the past decade. So what can you do to start earning affiliate money?

Their are a number of programs online today that you can buy that will help you start earning affiliate money. Some are expensive around $200 or so while others are much more affordable usually in the $39 to $49 dollar range. I personally have bought several programs over the past two years and can tell you that most are relatively the same. Each marketing guru puts their own spin on things.

To start making affiliate money you would do fine to go for one of the cheaper programs. Most of them will give you an e-book about 70-100 pages in length and a free website to implement the ideas expressed in the book. If you follow their instructions explicitly you will be making affiliate money in about a months time. Many programs promise that you will be making affiliate money in days but be realistic. If you make enough affiliate money in the first month to cover the cost of the program and any advertising fees you are off to a good start.

Another way to make affiliate money that won’t cost you a dime is to advertise using articles. Article advertising will take substantially more work on your part. Before you can begin earning affiliate money you will have to locate products you feel you can write an article about.

After you have located a few products with the potential to earn you affiliate money do some brainstorming about the product. Select a keyword that is related to the product and write your article based around that keyword. Repeat this process for other keywords. Make sure to place a link leading to the product your promoting towards the end of the article.

Lastly, to earn affiliate money from your articles you will need to post them somewhere that people will be able to read them. E-zineArticles.com, GoArticles.com, SearchWarp.com, and U.S.freeads.com are all free article directories that you can post on. Their are other’s out there but you should focus on these four because they generally get higher volumes of traffic and google likes to give high search ranks to articles posted on them.

If you wish to make affiliate money using the article advertising method you will have to create new articles on a daily basis. Writing 1-3 articles a day you will start to see affiliate money by the end of your first month. This method takes a lot of work but it is a sure fire way to earn affiliate money.

Both methods discussed here will allow you to begin earning affiliate money. The only difference is one will cost a small amount and the other is free. Keep in mind you will have to put forth the effort whichever path you take. I wish you the best of luck.

The number one reason a person joins an affiliate marketing program is to make money. As a matter of fact affiliate money seems to flow in the direction of some affiliate marketers and not others! Why is that?

You may have often wondered why you are not successful as an affiliate marketer and someone else is. As a matter of fact, there is a phrase known as an super affiliate to describe people who are the top sales affiliates in any particular program.

Like anything in life affiliate marketing has an 80/20 rule. What that means is that 80% of the commissions are paid to 20% of the affiliates.

In reality, it might even be higher than that because affiliate marketing has a 95% failure rate. This is very sad because there is no excuse for anyone not to make affiliate money on the Internet today.

The biggest reason the failure rate is so high is because most people never learn how to drive traffic to their affiliate website. In conjunction with that most people really never learn affiliate marketing strategies at all.

If all you did was drive traffic to your affiliate website, you would make money if you got enough traffic there. To increase the odds for success you are better to create your own affiliate website where you can pre-sell products before passing your visitor on to your affiliate sales page.

Even better yet is to use the strategy of sending traffic to a capture page, getting the contact information of your visitor, and then sending them to your presale page. This allows you to follow for future sales because most people will not buy from you on the first visit to your affiliate website.

If all of this starts to seem a little complicated it really doesn’t have to be. But it does show you that you will need skills if you’re going to make money as an affiliate marketer.

That really is the last word on affiliate money because most people will not develop skills. Therefore they will never make any money.

If you ignore most of what I said in this article at least understand that if you’ll master traffic generation skills and send that traffic directly to your affiliate website, you can still make a lot of affiliate money.

Will it be easy?

Nothing is easy when you don’t how to do it, but we are not talking about something so complicated that an average person cannot learn it. If you are willing to work hard and learn then you definitely can earn great affiliate money!
