Does one have to file even If the income is tax free?

SSDI and VA Disability are the sources.
What about passive Income from child support/alimony or rental property?

I just wanted to make sure that the actual form DOSEN’T have to be sent showing the amounts of income even though its tax free.

No, not on your Social Security and VA disability but I’m not sure about the rental property and alimony, you need to check with the IRS on that. They normally have a toll free number in local phone books.
u have to file tax return..even if u didnt worked for a dime..for a penny..
must file it..
i would ring and ask about it it is the safest way because tax bills can be nasty… gl
Rental Income and Alimony are Taxable incomes, as is Social Security Disability payments depending on the amounts of any other taxable income,Child Support, and VA Disability payments are not taxable income
You have to file if your reportable income exceeds a certain amount – that amount depends on your filing status, and on where the income is from.
SSDI and VA Disability are not reportable, and don’t figure into taxes. Child support is not reportable or taxable either.
Alimony is reportable and is taxable income, as is income from rental property.
SSDI and VA disability are not taxable and do not need to be reported.
Child support received is not taxable and does not need to be reported.
Alimony is fully taxable to the recipient (and deductible by the payer) and must be reported on Form 1040. There’s a line for it.
Income from rental property is fully taxable and must be reported on Schedule E.
